Pathfinder Club

For those who know, “Pathfindering” conjures up images of marching, camping, curious hobbies, bugs and bats. Enlarging their windows on the world and building a relationship with God are the dual objectives of this club designed for children ages 10-15. Currently with nearly 2 million members around the world, this Seventh-day Adventist Church-sponsored club accepts any youth who promise to abide by the Pathfinder Pledge and Law regardless of their church affiliation.

The Thousand Oaks Pathfinder Club meets three Sabbath afternoons each month from 3 to 5 p.m. For information contact Ryan McConnehey, leader or Facebook them at TOSDA Pathfinders.

Senior Connections

Senior Connections is a ministry designed primarily to "stay in touch with" and recognize the senior members in our congregation, mainly those who are alone, or those who face illness or other challenges without the care of family members to nurture them. A visiting program is in place where these members are visited on a regular basis.  Birthdays and other special days are remembered with cards and flowers. A weekly letter is mailed to seniors on the mailing list.  Also, for those who wish it, a senior activity sheet called Home Touch that features a devotional and a game page, is included with the letter.  Social activities are planned throughout the year for those who are able to attend.

Hannah Lim is our current Senior Connections leader.
